Building software shouldn't feel like a leap in the dark
Most people put it off for the same three reasons: they're afraid it'll cost more than expected, take forever, and be impossible to follow. We work in a way built to remove exactly those fears.
Four clear stages
From first conversation to long-term support, no disappearing acts.
Listen
A free, no-obligation conversation. You tell us what's slowing the business down and what a good result looks like; we ask questions until we understand how things really work today. No jargon, no pressure, no pretending we know best before we know the problem.
Plan
Before we build anything, we agree what to build, what it'll cost and how long it'll take. You get the full picture up front, clearly agreed, no open-ended bill. If software isn't the right answer, we'll tell you that too.
Build
We build in clear stages, not behind a closed door for six months. You see it take shape and steer it as we go, so what lands is what you actually need, not what we guessed back at the start.
Support
Going live isn't the finish line. Software needs looking after, and businesses keep moving. We stay on to maintain it, fix what needs fixing, and keep improving it. You'll always know who to call.
Plain dealing, start to finish
What every client gets, without having to ask.
Before we write a line of code, you have a fixed price for an agreed scope. If you want to change or add something mid-build, we cost it separately and clearly, no surprise bills at the end, and no quietly cutting corners to absorb what was never budgeted for.
Jonathan or Amanda: whichever one you're dealing with is the one doing the work. There's no handoff once you sign, no ticket queue, no stranger who has to go and check with someone else. If something needs saying, we say it.
Including telling you when what you've asked for isn't the right answer, and what would work better. We'd rather have a slightly awkward conversation early than spend months building the wrong thing.
No jargon, no acronyms, no techno-babble. You should be able to follow every decision, understand every update and feel in control of your own project, without needing a technical background to do it.
Going live is not where we bow out. We look after what we build, improve it as your business moves, and stay on hand when something needs attention. Most of our clients have been working with us for years.
Tell us what's slowing your business down
A free, plain-English call. No jargon, no obligation, just a clear view of what's possible.
Frequently asked questions
What people usually want to know about working with us.
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope: we agree a realistic timeline with you in the planning stage, before any building starts. See what affects cost and time.
Who owns the code and the data?
Your data is always yours, and once the project is paid in full you own the bespoke application we build specifically for you, so you’re never locked in. We keep ownership of the general frameworks, libraries, tools, templates, AI systems and reusable components we bring to every project, which is what lets us build dependable software efficiently and keep improving it over time.
How is the software hosted and run?
We deploy to reliable, modern cloud infrastructure such as Vercel, chosen to keep your software fast, secure and dependable.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
We fix genuine bugs free for a period after a project goes live: you’re not paying to put right something that should have worked. After that, fixes and changes are handled as part of ongoing support.
How do you keep it secure once it’s live?
Security patches, updates and backups are part of how we look after software, following UK National Cyber Security Centre guidance. See how ongoing support works.
